Hi! My name is Daria Mirovova. I am a botanical artist and illustrator from Russia.
I was working as an interior designer when I wanted to paint again in 2015. Since then, I have been a student, teacher, and freelance illustrator. I tried myself in different directions until I really found my own.
I may be old-fashioned, but I derive my inspiration from the art of the old masters, classical botanical illustrations, ornaments, and still lifes. I try to bring this aesthetic and elegance into my work.

I am a practicing botanical artist. in 2020 I took part in my first botanical exhibition. I am now a Fellow Member of the Society of Botanical Artists (UK), a member of the Association of Botanical Artists (UK), and the Society of Artists of Botanical Art (Russia). I have participated in more than 10 group exhibitions in Russia and 3 online exhibitions by the Association of Botanical Artists. In 2021 one of my artworks took part in the 24th Annual Exhibition of the American Society of Botanical Artists in California. In 2022 my illustration was selected for the SBA Plantae Exhibition in London.
I am also a commercial illustrator. Patterns with decorative and botanical subjects are my specialization. I design wallpapers, fabrics, and home textiles inspired by heritage. As an interior designer in the past, the most interesting for me is the creation of wallpapers and textiles for elegant classic interiors. I work with clients all over the world, selling ready-made designs and teaching patterns to my students.
